Members of the A519 team have shunned the trains, [planes] and automobiles and taken part in the 3rd annual Cycle to Work Day. Today saw several staff donning their cycle shorts and yellow jersey, whilst staying active and saving the planet at the same time.
For the fourth year running, architecture519 once again successfully completed our charity challenge with the support of our hosts at Distant Horizons.
Architecture519 are organising our annual Charity Challenge event in support of Martin House Children’s Hospice in Leeds.
Just like last year a beautiful day welcomed our annual charity challenge. The event hosted by Distant Horizons in and around the Lake District is now in its third year and 2014 was one of the best yet!
Three of the Architecture519 team have just confirmed entry into the ’10 under the Ben’ mountain bike endurance event next June.
Although it seems a long time ago we have now recovered from our ‘Longest Highest’ charity challenge. The Architecture 519 team along with a few friends completed the event in 11hrs 20mins, picking the hottest day of the year so far to do it! Well done to everyone and many thanks to all our sponsors we raised over our £1500 target for the HALE Project in Shipley. Here are a few pics from the day.
