This innovative office refurbishment and part new-build within a Grade II Listed building in Leeds rationalised eight local offices into a feature head-quarters for a leading property agent.
A ground floor open plan management suite, basement staff facilities with a bar, and several meeting spaces were created. A retail sales and marketing floor was also introduced with extensive shop front glazing.
The interior design sought to redefine the working environment with work spaces arranged around interconnected, flexible breakout spaces. The flowing spaces were designed to maximise daylight and river views. More discrete, private modular ‘meeting pods,’ were each fully equipped with audio-visual and IT facilities.
The scheme won the prestigious British Council of Offices (BCO) Award for Best Office.
