The renovation of this Grade II Listed former canal-side lace mill building on the outskirts of Nottingham forms the centre-piece of a wider residential regeneration development.

The mill has been creatively restored to provide 105 spacious, contemporary, one, two and three bedroom apartments with affordable housing built on the adjacent land.

The sensitive conversion keeps and enhances many of the original features of the building both inside and out, whilst providing an attractive and desirable place for people to live. Innovative roof terraces were cut in to the existing roof slope of the listed building with Architecture519 working closely with the local authority and English Heritage to develop the design and details.

Architecture519 obtained full planning and listed building consent for the scheme, and delivered it on site working alongside the main contractor.
