The former Tetley’s Brewery visitor’s attraction was transformed in to a light and spacious ground floor food and drink establishment with great views across the River Aire with access to the largest south-facing outside terrace in the City.
The ground floor design featured an over-sized, elevated island bar with integrated champagne coolers and matching high stools. The remaining areas were treated with a robust resin floor and cafe tables and chairs. The walls were adorned with textured barrier matting to dampen the acoustic resonance of the space.
The first floor space was designed as an opulent boudoir, with lavish furnishings and lighting. To mitigate the potential acoustic issues, the first floor bar was fitted with innovative vertical louvers to each of the windows which, when closed, provided excellent sound reduction properties. These, in turn provided opportunities for branding and graphics.
The private members club has been awarded several industry awards for best interior and has created a vibrant, exciting backdrop to one of the premier night spots in Leeds.
